Senior Planner - £50-65K

Do you want to be working for a well established integrated agency? If you take this opportunity, you will be delivering innovative creative and communications planning solutions, as part of our smart & dynamic planning function. Planners are respected contributors within the agency and with clients, inspire their colleagues and bring clarity and simplicity to the thinking. 
You will be undertaking the day-to-day account planning on a selection of B2C and B2B clients. 
You will be undertaking planning tasks on new business as required, contributing ad hoc across a range of blue-chip clients and bringing deep expertise in integrated and relationship marketing and digital communications.

Responsibilities include:

• Identify & unlock strategic, creative brand opportunities;

• Communication strategy development;

• Improve and apply audience understanding;

• Designing and managing research projects; 

• Creative brief and creative development;

• Input to channel planning;

• Working alongside other roster agencies

• Owning the measurement and evaluation of campaigns

• Drafting awards entries; 

• Pitch planning - including developing pitch strategy and presenting.


Experience Required:

6 years as an account planner, ideally from an integrated agency background, with digital experience.


Required Skills: 


• Identifying suitable insights from desk research or commissioned quantitative and qualitative research

• Drafting and contributing to inspirational creative briefs

• Working effectively with the creative team


Communications Planning:

• Developing Segmentations and Targeting strategies

• Analysis of campaign and behavioural data 

• Ability to get under the skin of consumer data sets (eg Nielsen/GfK); 

• Driving our approach to measurement and evaluation

Ideally, the candidate will be able to point to relevant basic training courses such as APG or IPA.
